SO amidst my current manic non-stop drawing/illustrating, I keep being drawn to the closer details of my drawings. These close ups are starting to interest me more than the finished whole image (annoying considering the amount of hours and hand cramps they consume but that's the beauty of art I suppose).
They remind me of film stills... or at least in that same way that a paused moving image can stop time and pause all of what's going on in the film, to that one small frame of there and then. So I suppose that's how I see these details, a small part of a much bigger picture.
